Entel DN-495 LTE PoC Walkie Talkie

The Entel DN-495 LTE - PoC Walkie Talkie

This incredible walkie talkie and the 400 series is something very different. Entel's E-PoC push-to-talk over cellular (basically PoC or Wi-Fi) offers incredible UK wide range from a wireless radio. It achieves this through the national cellphone network and can switch to the best of all of them at any given time - and that alone makes this device far different than a mobile phone. If you have a mobile and it loses the network then often they have no service, but with this handset it simply switches to the best available network whichever it is. Of course for lone workers, drivers and anyone that is 'off site' then its now possible to speak with them through commercial equipment that can meet the needs of business. This walkie talkie can be used for leisure, but costs are higher than other solutions that might be more suitable.

Using the walkie talkie as a PTT (push-to-talk) radio the DN-495 has an incredible number of extra features that are not present on 'regular' walkie talkies. It can have lone worker features as well as many other beneficial inclusions like the smartphone app or a radio gateway. If you need control there is a dispatcher optionally sold that works great too.

Below is a review we created for this Entel radio that shows all of the main features and benefits:
